Village Bake Shop (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website to allow customers to browse products, place orders, and pay online for in-store pickup at our Whitby location.

By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

All online orders are for in-store pickup only at 601 Dundas St. W., Whitby, Ontario. We do not offer delivery through this website.

You must select an available pickup date and time before checkout. Custom cookie orders require at least two days’ notice.

Please arrive during your selected pickup window. Orders not collected within a reasonable time may be disposed of without refund, at our discretion.

Product availability, pricing, and descriptions are subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders.

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars before tax. Ontario HST is calculated at checkout — basic bread, whole cakes, and six or more single servings (e.g. cupcakes or slices) are tax-free; most other bakery items are taxed at 13%; qualifying items $4 or less may be taxed at 5%.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully completed.

For custom products, final pricing may be confirmed separately where noted on the product page.

Because our products are prepared fresh, cancellations may not always be possible once an order is placed. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method. We may offer store credit in some circumstances.

Custom image cookies and other made-to-order items may require additional lead time, design approval, and communication by phone or email.

You are responsible for ensuring uploaded images and design instructions do not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Village Bake Shop is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or from products ordered online.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
